With this 5-Day Cusco Magic Tour, discover the rich history and cultural diversity of Cusco. Begin by exploring the historic center of the Imperial City and its surrounding sites, where the legacy of the Inca Empire blends with colonial architecture.
Continue your journey through the Sacred Valley, visiting picturesque villages and experiencing the living traditions of the Andes. Then, enjoy a scenic train ride to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and the highlight of your trip.
To complete the experience, take a short hike to Rainbow Mountain, where you’ll witness one of the most unique natural landscapes in the region.

Upon your arrival at the Cusco airport in the morning, one of our hosts will meet you and escort you in your transfer and hotel check-in. In the afternoon (13:00 hrs), embark on an exciting and unique 6-hour tour to discover the most emblematic places inside and outside the Imperial City.
Explore the Main Square and see the colonial buildings built on the walls of the Inca palaces. Then, stroll inside The Cathedral, an emblematic work of the colonial era, and admire its beautiful religious ornamentation. Afterwards, walk through the original streets of the Inca period until you reach the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), observe the beauty and the perfect combination of 2 different cultures (Inca and European). Later, leave the city to visit the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman and have a look at the mysterious construction of polygonal megalithic style with perfect inlays, and finally, return to your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel. Begin an epic tour of The Sacred Valley with a brief stop at a local textile center run by women of Inca descent. There you will see how typical textiles are made from the wool of Andean camelids and also meet South American camelids. Next, visit the archaeological center and local market of Pisaq; admire the large agricultural terraces and stroll through the colorful local market. At noon, enjoy exquisite Peruvian cuisine at one of Urubamba’s best restaurants and then stroll through the picturesque village of Ollantaytambo. In the afternoon, at 16:36 or 19:04, board the train from Ollantaytambo station and cross the eastern Andes mountain range through a deep valley to the town of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes). Upon arrival, our host will be waiting to escort you to your hotel.
After breakfast, together with an excellent professional local guide, take the shuttle bus (25 minutes) to Machu Picchu, the Wonder of the World. Passing the checkpoint, head to the lookout point (watchman’s house), from where you can enjoy the Machu Picchu’s stunning panoramic view and admire the fascinating scenery that surrounds it. Also take excellent photographs that will immortalize your visit and then explore the urban area and marvel at the perfection of the construction with the amazing harmony with the topography and discover the secrets behind it. After your tour, say goodbye to the “Lost City of the Incas”, board a bus to Aguas Calientes town and have lunch on your own. Later (14:55, 15:20, or 18:20 hours), board your return train to Ollantaytambo, be greeted by our staff upon arrival, and continue your return journey in a tourist minibus to the city of Cusco.
Important: If you are booked to climb the Mountain or Huaynapicchu, climb on your own after the tour in Machu Picchu.
Today, begin your Tour to Rainbow Mountain at 04:30 a.m. Aboard a tourist mobility, leave your hotel and the bustling city of Cusco and take a 3-hour drive to Rainbow Mountain. Before arriving at your main destination, make a brief stop to enjoy your homemade breakfast in Cusipata town. Then continue driving until you reach the start of the hike to Rainbow Mountain. At 8:40 a.m., begin the 2-hour uphill hike at a leisurely pace escorted by a local expert trekking guide.
From the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint (5200masl / 17,060 ft), appreciate and photograph the amazing mountain of different colours in the form of stripes formed over millions of years by the oxides of different types of minerals. Also, admire the scenic beauty of the imposing Ausangate Mountain (6385masl/20948ft), and walk among the South American camelids in their natural habitat.
Finally, descend and board your tourist transport to the Cusipata village and taste the local food prepared with Andean ingredients (buffet). After your lunch and short rewarding rest, take your tourist transport to return to Cusco. Arrival at 5:00-30 pm.
Breakfast at the hotel and 2.20-hour before your flight departure, our staff will pick you up and escort you to Cusco airport. If your flight departs in the afternoon, take advantage of your free time to explore more the Cusco city or do some souvenir shopping.
